Test Facilities at the Penn State  Aerospace Department

Under agreement with the Penn State Aerospace Department, Kane Engineering Services has access to several world class wind tunnel and water channel test facilities.  Occupancy time in these test facilities can be rented by KES to perform many kinds of aerodynamic, validation, survivability, and calibration testing.

These facilities include:

  • 3.25' X 5' Low Speed, Low Turbulence Wind Tunnel

  • 2' X 3' Boundary Layer Wind Tunnel

  • 2.6' x 1.6' Water Channel/Tunnel
